This Privacy Statement describes how Cold wallet collects and processes your personal information through the Cold wallet websites and applications referenced in this Privacy Statement. Cold wallet refers to the ecosystem consisting of the Cold wallet website, mobile applications, clients, applets and other applications developed to provide Binance services, and includes independently operated platforms, websites and clients within the ecosystem. "Cold wallet operator" refers to the parties that operate Cold wallet, including but not limited to legal persons, unincorporated organizations, and teams that provide Cold wallet services and are responsible for the services. "Cold wallet" as used in this privacy statement includes Cold wallet operators.

This privacy statement applies to all personal information processing activities we carry out across platforms, websites and Cold wallet and Cold wallet operator divisions.

Cold wallet's relationship with you
The Cold wallet operating entity with which you contract determines how and for what purposes personal information is processed in connection with the services provided to you (commonly referred to as the "data controller"). Cold wallet (Services) Holdings Pty Ltd is the joint controller with primary responsibility for your personal information, including providing it to you and responding to any requests you may make under data protection law. You may be asked to provide personal information when contacted by any Cold wallet company you work with. Cold wallet companies may share your personal information with each other, and if they do so, they will use it consistently in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

What personal information does Cold wallet collect and process?
Personal information is data that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual. This includes information you provide to us, information collected automatically about you and information we obtain from third parties.

Information you provide to us. To open an account and access our services, we ask you to provide us with some information about yourself. Our main purpose of collecting personal information is to provide our services safely, efficiently and smoothly. We generally use your personal information to deliver, provide, operate our services, content and advertising and for loss prevention and anti-fraud purposes

We will communicate with you to keep you up-to-date on our services, for example, to notify you of relevant security issues, updates or to provide other transaction-related information. Without such communication, you may not be aware of important developments related to your account that may affect how you use our Services. You may not opt out of receiving critical service communications, such as emails or mobile notifications for legal or security purposes.

Cold wallet does not permit anyone under the age of 18 to use the Cold wallet Services and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18.

We use cookies and similar tools to enhance your user experience, deliver our services, enhance our marketing efforts and understand how customers use our services so we can improve them. How and why do we share your personal information?
We may share your personal information with third parties, including other Cold wallet entities, if we believe that sharing your personal information is consistent with any contractual relationship with you or us, applicable law, regulation or legal process or requirement. When sharing your personal information with other Cold wallet entities, we will use our best efforts to ensure that those entities abide by this Privacy Statement, or follow at least the same safeguards as those described in this Privacy Statement. For example, it depends on where you live and which entity is responsible for running KYC checks.

Is my information safe?
We design our systems with your security and privacy in mind. We take appropriate security measures to protect your information from accidental loss, unauthorized use or access, alteration or disclosure. We are committed to using encryption protocols and software to protect the security of your personal information during transmission and storage. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards regarding the collection, storage and disclosure of your personal information. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties with a business need to know.

Our security procedures mean that we may ask you to verify your identity to protect your account from unauthorized access. We recommend that you use a unique password for your Cold wallet account that you do not use for other online accounts, and log out when you are done using the shared computer.

What rights do I have?

You have the right to request access, correction and deletion of your personal information and to request data portability. You can also object to our processing of your personal information or ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
